Places to Visit in San Diego - Part 1

Next month (February) is half-price Musuem month in San Diego! Oh, I picked the wrong month. Oh well.

Found a website today dedicated to sharing information about visting or living in San Diego with kids. And - found out that the Lady Washington and two other tall ships are there this week! For Greg's birthday last year, Kate and Greg went on a sail on the Lady Washington. They loved it!

Also discovered that we are going to miss the specatular flowers at The Flower Fields in Carlsbad by one week. I saw this on a PBS special last year - it looks like a beautiful sight.

But the saving grace is that an organic lavendar farm offers tours during the late Spring and early summer. This is definitely worth checking into - I love lavendar!

Anyway, trip planning continues - covertly. I still haven't told Kate yet - so shhh!
